- Holes can be drilled with standard twist drills in hole sizes up to 10mm or so, but will need to be resharpened regularly if a lot of drilling is required.
- Glass and tile drills are also very effective and give a longer life before sharpening.
- Diamond or carbide grit hole-saws are recommended for larger size holes
- Clean up the area of drill dust/swarf using vacuum cleaner – as this can be quite splintery and cause itching. Use a drop-sheet under the work to leave the area clean.
