Flourish PYO Community Garden received some old wooden picket fence panels which leaders wanted to utilize as free-standing screen/dividers around the southern side of the garden. A pedestal system was devised (utilizing old composite crossarms kindly refurbished by West Toowoomba Mens Shed) as a sturdy mounting for the panels, and garden seating was also incorporated on each side. Masterpieces of floral art were created by talented garden volunteers to adorn the once derelict fence panels, making a decorative and very functional addition to this community space.
